Protein Cheesecake Jars

Want to start the day with a cheeky but less-guilty treat? Look no further! A lot of people rave about overnight oats but trust us, this one is better!

With lots of protein, this no-bake protein cheesecake is what you want for recovery after the gym! This tasty treat is what you want in order to help you attain the gains. And don't forget, if you subscribe to one of our protein boxes, you can try making this with a new flavour every month. One month you could have strawberry cheesecake and the next, chocolate cookies, mango or many more. Check out our range of whey boxes below (also available as one offs).

This recipe makes you six tasty protein jars of goodness.

Lets delve into the recipe:

Ingredients

Six digestive biscuits.

190ml of whipping cream

450g of soft cheese (cream cheese)

80g sugar or you can also split this into half sugar and half sweetener to save calories.

45g of sour cream

1 teaspoon of lemon juice

Half a teaspoon of vanilla extract

Two scoops of whey

Method:

Step 1:

Pour your 190ml of whipping cream into a large bowl or a stand mixer and mix at a fast speed for 4-5 minutes until it forms stiff peaks. You want it airy and fluffy.

Place this to one side and recover for a minute after the fast mixing.

Step 2:

Next, combine your soft cheese and sugar until it's smooth. Then add in your sour cream, lemon juice and vanilla extract. Mix these until well combined. You don't want any blobs of cheese left in the mix. Nobody likes lumpy cheese haha.

Once combined, add in your protein powder and mix well. This is where your gym-gains are added.

Step 3:

Fold this together with the whipped cream delicately. Your aim is to keep the airy nature of the whipped cream. So ensure you fold this gently together.

Step 4:

Break up the digestives and crumble them into the bottom of six glass jars or dishes. If you want to add in more effort, you can grind these up and add some butter and brown sugar to these to make an authentic cheesecake base but we are opting for the easy method in this cheesecake recipe. So just break up one digestive per glass jar.

Step 5:

Add a healthy portion of the protein cheesecake mixture into each jar, on top of the biscuits.

Now pop them in the fridge for a few hours to cool and that's it. Your nice, easy, tasty protein cheesecakes are complete! Just add any toppings you like. We opted for a drizzle of melted chocolate and strawberries on ours! What will you pick?

You could add anything, such as biscoff, protein bars, blueberries or anything you like. Whatever makes them more delicious.
