Lean Mean Protein Pancake Mix

Do you love to get out of bed and know that you'll be getting your protein requirement in as soon as you wake up? You've come to the right place!

With only 250 calories and 19 grams of protein, try out the delicious and easy-to-make pancake recipe below:


INGREDIENTS

  • Two shop-bought pancakes (80 kcals each)

  • 85 grams of plain protein yogurt (you can use regular plain, thick yogurt but the protein quantity won't be as high).

  • Whey protein (provided in MEANPROTEIN boxes) - any flavour - we used chocolate peanut by Bulk Powders.

  • Three strawberries

RECIPE

  1. Place the pancakes in a toaster to get a crispy consistency.

  2. While these are toasting, in a mixing bowl, mix the 85 grams of yogurt and 0.25 of a scoop (about 10 grams) of protein powder together until smooth and fluffy.

  3. Chop the strawberries up into evenly sliced pieces.

  4. Once the pancakes pop up out of the toaster, spoon the yogurt mix onto the pancakes, making sure to smooth it out evenly with your spoon.

  5. Put the strawberry slices on top and serve.

Protein: 19 grams

Carbs: 33 grams

Fat: 5 grams
